Possibly one of the sexiest cars

Koenigsegg Agera R Interior

By far one of the best looking cars has to be The Koenigsegg Agera R!!! i mean ACCELERATING FROM a standstill to 186 mph in 14.5 seconds is a fairly kinetic event. Very loud, tunnel vision, urge to pee. One moment the Swedish countryside is just sitting there, looking lovely and serene; the next it’s blowing past you in a violent blur of autumn colors.

The Koenigsegg Agera R, built by an extraordinary man named Christian von Koenigsegg, in Angelholm, Sweden, last year laid waste to a bunch of Guinness production-car records, among them: zero to 186 miles per hour and back to zero in 21.19 seconds.

The very car I’m driving, in fact. And it is, it feels like, a horizontal roller coaster: At rest, the Agera R always seems poised in space, then hit the gas, over the top, and straight down, bang, bang, bang go the gears. A plunging vertigo takes over, a forward free-fall. The momentum builds in inexorable squares of mass and you scream your face off. Welcome to Six Flags Over Sweden.

The Agera R—$2.5 million or so, about 1,000 to 1,140 horsepower (depending on fuel), about 3,200 pounds—continues to crush passengers in excess of 1g of linear acceleration until somewhere north of 100 mph, at which point the car’s aerodynamic shape begins to exert significant downforce (660 pounds at 155 mph). The rate of acceleration levels off but it’s still going upstairs like crazy (124 to 186 mph takes 7 seconds). This is telemetry as pornography.

Phones and germs!!

We all love our smart phones and tablets - a lot. But the next time you take your phone to lunch, hand it to a coworker to share photos, or bring it to the gym, consider this: Bacteria from a phone can cause flu, pinkeye or diarrhea. Yuck. And people are just as likely to get sick from their phones as from handles of the bathroom. That's according to a physician interviewed by the Wall Street Journal about the hazards of taking your cell phone everywhere - and then passing it to friends to share an image or message. You don't have to be a germophobe to dread that bit of news. A lab tested eight randomly selected phones from a Chicago office and all phones showed abnormally high numbers of coliforms, a bacteria that indicates fecal contamination. Of the eight phones tested, there were between about 2,700 and 4,200 units of coliform bacteria. In drinking water, the limit is less than 1 unit per 100 ml of water. The tricky part?
Most household cleaners and disinfectants can harm your phone's screen or case. Thats some pretty nasty stuff if you ask me. But again dont get all germaphobic this is just something to think about.

Car Insurance

My car insurance was on the rise with just about everything else. As gas goes up so does the cost of living and now my insurance to. I was doing research and found what most of us already know the cost of car insurance varies a lot from one insurance company to another, but in general car insurance is expensive. It is better to shoot down unrealistic expectations about the cost of car insurance because you are only going to end up disappointed and frustrated if you keep on thinking you will be able to find an inexpensive car insurance. On a lighter note, even if the cost of car insurance is no joke, you can still find relatively affordable car insurance for your car on the terms you want and a payment scheme suited to you. Car insurance will cost approximately around $800 per year, but that is that is just the median range, it can go higher or lower depending on certain factors like the value of your car, the state you are in, your insurance company and the kind of insurance you chose to get. Usually, car insurance for new car owners and young drivers costs more because of they are generally the one’s at risk of encountering accidents and such, due to inexperience or recklessness. Experienced drivers with no previous record of vehicular mishaps can get a lower cost car insurance. Well people let me tell you im one of the unlucky few because im young only 19 years of age soon to be 20. My driving record isnt that good so as you guys know they charge me more aint that funny!

There are many factors that contribute to the total cost but that depends on the coverage you're getting, also the type of car is factor, like i said age is a very big factor, gender, credit score, martial status and of course your driving record. So these are some of the main factors that influence the costs of car insurance in the United States. As mentioned earlier, the average driver in this country can expect to pay somewhere around $880 per year for auto insurance coverage. But remember, this is only the premium cost — it doesn’t include the deductibles drivers pay in the event of an accident. Everything I just told you is somewhat theoretical. These are the average costs of a car insurance policy, and the various factors that influence them. But there’s only one way to find out how much your policy is going to cost you — and that’s to get quotes from car insurance companies. So what are you waiting for start calling now.

Shoes.. Jordans

Shoes so many brands, styles, designs, colors. Today in modern society shoes are used to describe they show your sense of style. In my opinion i would Air Jordan's are the best brand of shoes out ever point blank you might disagree or agree like i said its my opinion. My favorite Jordan's right now are the Jordan 13's breds! The design and colors just blew me away. Black Red and White ohh yea how can you go wrong with those colors!! ohh wait you can't! I absolutely love these. recently the only way to get these was through people who had originally bought them and were now selling them in places like eBay.

Its been years since these shoes have been in stores and let me tell you i cant wait till they come out in 2013. Yes people these are coming back in a couple of months but you better get to stores early cause they will sell out ASAP! The 13's bred are coveted Black with a Red upper which will also appear on this years’ Air Jordan 11, constructed from a combination of suede, mesh and leather. For the most part this upcoming Jordan retro release stays true to the original with the exception of the 3M which used to appear on the side panels. The hologram is still in place on the heel, encasing the logo in a Green translucent bubble. Now some of you are asking whats 3M well to make it simple 3m is material that shines brightly when light shines on it. thats all it is so when you take pictures with flash you would notice your sneakers look different. Be on the look out people these are coming out soon!

Sky Diving

Have you guys ever wanted to try Sky diving? Well tandem sky diving lets you experience the thrill and beauty of freefall with the security of an instructor right there with you, able to talk to you and point things out in freefall and after the parachute is open. Over 1,500 of them are Tandem sky diving first jumps from 13,500′- over 2 1/2 miles high. This tandem sky diving experience is the opportunity of a lifetime to be extreme and experience the ultimate adrenalin rush of approximately 50 seconds of freefall.I did it; I couldnt believe it when i did it i just jumped off an airplane and fell more than two miles—eleven thousand feet. It is unbelievable. You jump and you are like not attached. Everything is gone. You are just falling with the wind rushing through your body. After i left the plane i was falling and stable and i could look around. So I looked. It was getting dark, but I could still see some features—fields, trees, roads, and of course lights. I looked at altimeter, looked around, looked at the clouds, looked at moon, the airfield. I didn't think looking was a big deal; I have seen the same view from planes. But i was still falling though, and i had time to think about the fact that i was actually there, falling...As I said, I had seen enough of the view, so a bit after passing 7000 feet, I just watched the altimeter. At 6000, i counted to three, signaled, looked, reached, and pulled. It is about thirty seconds from leaving the plane to pulling the ripcord. Hard to believe it was only 30 seconds. Gliding under the canopy lasts a lot longer than the free fall, and you are somewhat confident that you are safe, and you get to help steer the parachute to the field. You pull—very hard—on the handles on the left and right that increase the drag of the parachute on the corresponding side and thus turn you in that direction. I was told I did well, but I was pretty confused about what the instructor wanted at any given time. It was pretty exciting. You absolutely cannot imagine it i really want to do it all over again and i guess i will since i didnt want to pay for the video and pictures due to the fact i didnt want anyone to see my terrified face. Next time i will though but i really do recomend sky diving if you want to experience an adrenaline rush truely an amazing feeling.

Lawnmower

So today i had the pleasure of mowing my lawn ooman what a drag. To make things worst my lawn mower wasn't working so guess who had to buy a new one! yup me. So i go to the nearest Home depot and i bought the Snapper SPVH21675. My new lawnmower the Snapper is equipped with a device called a Fresh Start insert in its gas cap. From the manual i read that it slowly releases a drip of concentrated fuel preservative into the gas tank. When the insert runs dry, you simply snap a new one into the cap. I thought that was pretty nice a very neat idea. By preserving the gas in the mower instead of your gas can, you’re always assured of stabilized fuel during the cutting season, regardless of how many cans of fuel you run through. Additionally, with a rated top speed of 4 mph, the Snapper is a quick clipper. The snapper also has 3-in-1 convertibility that easily switches from bagging to mulching to side discharge. Compared to the lower model, it is powered by a larger Briggs & Stratton 675 series engine that comes standard with ReadyStart allowing a no-choke start, and Fresh Start which keeps fuel fresh up to 6 months thanks to the replaceable liquid fuel stabilizer insert, and the Double Wave blade gives efficient high performance when mulching, bagging or broadcasting clippings. Cutting the grass with this was a breeze i really like it but i noticed that Like the Deere, the Snapper’s top-handle drive control is better for cutting open areas, not for intricate, back-and-forth mowing that was one little set back but hey i don't mind. I forgot to mention the price i payed around $460 with taxes not bad i would say. My last mower was almost $200 more and was more simple compared to my Snapper.

Aventador

What’s devilish has a 6.5-liter V-12 that makes almost 700 horsepower, is made mostly from carbon fiber, has pushrods at all four corners and costs about $500,000? Yup you guessed its Lambo but not just any regular lambo we’re talking about the latest road going terror from Italy, the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Lamborghini seems to want to make you believe the Aventador is some kind of four-wheeled weapon system. Why else would you give the starter a red, flip-up safety cover unless pushing the button is dangerous? The amazing fact about the start-stop system is that it only takes 180 milliseconds for the engine to kick back on when the accelerator is pressed. Power to reactivate the engine comes from a capacitor instead of a battery. The decision to use a capacitor instead of a battery was quite a smart one, as the capacitor charges much quicker than a battery and saves the car 7 pounds. All of these changes have raised the Aventador’s fuel economy from 13.7mpg to 14.7mpg. The CO2 emissions are also dropping from 398g of CO2/lm to 370g/km. Other changes to the Aventador include stiffer springs, reorganized dampers that deliver a smoother and more comfortable driving experience.

Performance
  • 0–62 mph: 2.9 s
  • 1/4 mile: 10.6 s @ 133 mph (214 km/h)
  • Top speed: 217 mph (349 km/h), 354 km/h
  • 60–0: 100 ft.
Its transmission, a single-clutch seven-speed semi-automatic, is built by Graziano Trasmissioni. Although being single-clutch, gear-shifts are accomplished in 50 milliseconds.
The brand new, electronically controlled, four-wheel drive system is developed and supplied by the Swedish company Haldex Traction, offering superb traction and handling capabilities based on their 4th generation technology. This car is truely amazing every second it’s running, the all-new, dry-sump 6.5-liter V-12 is a vocal presence behind the driver’s right shoulder. This engine never whispers in your ear. Instead, it screams with satisfaction each time it’s stimulated. Unfortunately some of us may never get the chance to drive this raging bull but hey we can always dream. You never know maybe tomorrow the opportunity may present itself and you'll be behind the wheel of this awesome Aventador.
